Exciting finish awaits in the final round of L&RGU Scratch League Fixtures

Round 10 of the L&RGU Scratch League takes place on Thursday 16th August with almost all of the league winners, promotion and relegation outcomes still to be decided.

In division one, Birstall host Cosby with both teams tied on 11 points at the top of the table. Birstall will win the scratch league by winning the game but Cosby will claim the league with a draw or a win themselves. Longcliffe host Hinckley in the other game and whichever team loses will finish bottom of division one.

Division two sees The Leicestershire and Glen Gorse battling for promotion – both teams are away in the final round of matches (Glen Gorse at Rothley Park and The Leicestershire at Whetstone).

In the third division Beedles Lake and Kibworth are aiming for promotion and again both are in action in the final round of matches – Beedles Lake travel to Charnwood Forest whilst Kibworth are at home to Kirby Muxloe.

Division four sees Willesley Park and Lingdale competing for top spot and both face away trips on Thursday – Lingdale travel to Kilworth Springs whilst Willesley Park go to Ullesthorpe.

Finally in division five, congratulations to Market Harborough on securing the league title with 5 wins out of 5 so far this year. Their final game is away to Humberstone Heights on Thursday.
