The 33rd LSGA Championships will be held at Cosby Golf Club on Wednesday 6th May 2020. (Entry & Consent Forms available at the bottom of this page)
The Championships are open to boys and girls in full time education who have an official club handicap of 28 or better for boys and 36 or better for Girls. Handicap verification certificates will be required on the day. The competition will be a single medal and results will be forwarded to home clubs for handicapping purposes.
Schools and Colleges in Leicestershire and Rutland may enter as many students as they wish, either in teams of 3 or as individuals. If entered as a Team each player will also automatically be included in the singles event as well.
Entry Fees: £10 per player
Age Limit: born on or after 1st September 2001
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Best Gross Score (Leicestershire Schools Champion)
Best Nett Score (Boy & Girl)
Best Nett Team Score (3 players any combination Boys, Girls or Mixed - best 2 scores from 3 count)
Based on gross performances and handicap limits a number of boys and girls may be selected to represent Leicestershire & Rutland Schools in the Midlands Schools Championships (a Scratch Competition) on Friday 29th May 2020 at Chesterfield Golf Club. At this event the opportunity will exist for a number of players to qualify for the National Schools Championship and ultimately be awarded a Home International Cap.
In addition, the winning School Team will go forward to represent Leicestershire & Rutland Schools in the National Schools Team Championships (a Nett Competition) on Wednesday 8th July 2020 at Woodhall Spa Golf Club. The qualifying Team must be accompanied at this event by an adult representative from the School.

Important Note: The Parental Consent Form must be completed for each student and handed in on the day of the event. Please be aware that a player not handing in the signed consent form on the day will not be allowed to play in the event.
