The Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union runs an annual foursomes competition in the memory of a Past President of the English Golf Union and Rothley Park member, John Cheatle.

The 2019 will now not be played after two attempts to play it on 28th July and 29th September on both occassions the wearher forced the President to cancel the tournament.

Players who entered online or by Bacs will have their entry fee reimbursed, all cheques received for payment will be shredded.
