James Billingham (Cosby) wins the 2019 L&RGU Order of Merit

The 2019 L&RGU Order of Merit has been won by James Billingham from Cosby Golf Club. James also won the Order of Merit in 2017 and 2018 and becomes the second golfer, after Steve Sansome (Birstall), to win three in a row. 

James picked up 625 Order of Merit points during the season to narrowly beat County Captain Martin Anderson, Glen Gorse Golf Club, who scored 607 points. In third place was Jack Mayfield, also from Cosby, with 408 points. James will be presented with the Order of Merit salver at the L&RGU Annual Dinner in February 2020.
