New L&RGU Mens, Juniors and Seniors Team Am-Am a great success

The first L&RGU Mens, Juniors and Seniors Team Am-Am took place on Sunday 11th November at The Leicestershire Golf Club.

Ten teams, each comprising of one First/Second Team player, one county Junior and one county Senior took part in an Am-Am where the best two stableford scores on each counted and all 3 players contributed on the par threes. First/Second Team players all played off scratch whilst the Juniors and Seniors received half of their handicap allowance.

The winning team was comprised of Scott Wormleighton and Graham Marshall (both from Birstall) and Ethan Bell from Cosby. Their score of 80 points just pipped the runners-up team of James Billingham (Cosby), Alan Turton & Cameron Chalmers (both Ullesthorpe).
