Use of buggies in L&RGU tournaments

Please note we have a new rule to cover the use of buggies in all our tournaments. This rule is effective from 1st July 2016 and must be observed in all L&RGU tournaments.

I would be grateful if you would communicate this additional rule to your team captains and competitors in our foursomes and scratch league tournaments.

Rule 8. Transportation. It shall be a condition of any tournament organised by the L&RGU that players must walk at all times during a stipulated round, unless given permission to use a golf buggy by the Hon. Match Secretary in accordance with the England Golf Transportation Policy.
