Entries now being accepted for the 2016 Spring Trournament

The Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union runs a 72 hole 'Spring Tournament' for the Robin Fraser Trophy. The field is limited to 60 players and the top 27 (and tied) scores after the first 2 rounds are invited to continue into rounds 3 and 4.

The 2016 event will take place on Saturday 23rd April at Glen Gorse Golf Club. After 36 holes the leading 27 & those tied equal 27th will qualify for the 2nd 36 holes which will take place on Sunday 24th April at The Luffenham Heath Golf Club.

The Handicap limit for this event is 7. The Tournament will be limited to 60 competitors and shall be controlled by handicap ballot. This is a qualifying event for handicap purposes. The Entry Fee is £25:00

Online Entry is available for this event - you will need to have your CDH number ready and pay your entry fee immediately.

The 2015 winner was Coby Cartwright from Cosby Golf Club with a total score of 287. The runner up was Steve Sansome (Birstall) on 289 with defending champion, Richard Wale (Leicestershire) in third place.
