Matt Jones and Jake Cartwright win the John Cheatle Foursomes
The Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union runs an annual foursomes competition in the memory of a Past President of the English Golf Union, John Cheatle.
The John Cheatle Foursomes is by the L&RGU Presidents invitation, open to gentlemen including juniors, who are members of a golf club affiliated to any golf union. The 2014 event took place at its traditional venue, Rothley Park Golf Club, on Sunday 31st August.
The winners were Jake Cartwright and Matt Jones, both from Cosby Golf Club, whilst the best gross prize was won by James Billingham (Cosby) and Jack Merry (Birstall).
