L&RGU finish 2nd in England Golf County Championships Midland Qualifier at Trentham Park

L&RGU posted an 8 under par total of 702 to finish second to last years winners Lincolnshire who were 16 under par on 694 at Trentham Park GC. The Norman Russell Trophy for the best individual score was won by Sam Potter (Derbyshire) with a 10 under par total of 132 after shooting 66 -66. The best L&RGU player was Frazer Jones 69-68 -137 5 under. Lincolnshire who retained the trophy will again represent the MGU at the England Golf County Finals at Whittington Heath in September.
