County Captain Wins MGU Norman Russell Trophy

County Captain James Billingham (Cosby) won the Norman Russell Memorial Trophy for the best individual score at the England Golf Midland Qualifier at Overstone Park Northamptonshire. His  5 under 139 total gave him a one shot victory over Matt Haynes (Lincolnshire) James now gets an automatic entry into next years Brabazon Trophy.

Derbyshire won the England Golf Midland Qualifier with a total of 718, they will represent the MGU in the EG County Finals at Royal Norwich, L&RGU finished 4th on 725.
