Richard Wale (The Leicestershire) wins the "Wykes Bowl" at his home course The Leicestershire, he won 4/2 against 17 year Cosby and County Junior Will Plant. Will made history by beating his father Liam 3/1 in the semi final, himself a winner of this tournament in 1997. Wale beat county captain James Billingham (Cosby) 3/2 in the other semi final.
