County boys narrowly miss out on major success

Having made the EG county boys finals for the first time in the County’s history the Team were still in the hunt on day three but the top prize just eluded us.

 “So proud how all our players played in an incredible competition. Equally proud how L&RGU was represented, nothing but praise and good comments. Congratulations to Sam and the team. A taste of potential success” Phil Askew County President.

A big thanks for the support and good wishes we received from across the County over the 3 days and to the Players Clubs, Individual Coaches, County Coach Richard Hughes, Team Manager Gary Baines and the rest of the County Junior Team and County officials.  A special thank you must go to the players parents, grandparents and relatives who help us make all of this happen in such a big way.

I am looking forward to being involved in the future development of County Junior Golf across Leicestershire & Rutland and the continued growth and success of our program.
