L&RGU Boys lose out to Lincolnshire in Anglian League (West) qualifier

The L&RGU Boys team took on Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire in the Anglian League (West) qualifier. The winning county would go on to meet the East winners to play for the Boys Anglian League title.

In the morning foursomes Leicestershire & Rutland picked up 2.5 points, Lincolnshire 6 and Northamptonshire 3.5; in the afternoon singles the L&RGU performed well claiming 6 points against Northamptonshires 3.5, but Lincolnshire were the runaway winners with 14.5 points in the afternoon session giving 20.5 overall. Lincolnshire will go on to play in the Boys Anglian League final.
