Stroke Play (White Tees):   36 Holes Wednesday 5th August - Market Harborough G.C.

Match Play (White Tees):    Thursday 6th & Friday 7th August - Birstall G.C.

Open to boys under 18 years of age before 00.00 am on 1st January 2026 who are members of a golf club affiliated to the L&RGU.

Entrance fee: £25.00 (includes lunch on 5th August)

The Stroke Play Gross Championship shall be played over 36 holes at Market Harborough Golf Club and the Match Play Championship will be played at Birstall Golf Club over sets of 18 holes The best Gross Score over the 36 Holes will be declared the County Boys Champion*

Gross Prizes will be awarded to the overall Champion and for the following age groups based on age on 00.00 1 Jan 2026: under 18, under 16 and under 14.

The leading 8 Gross Scores decided by Local Rule from the 36-hole Stroke Play Championship will, if available qualify for the Match Play Championship. *A tie for first place will be decided by a sudden death play-off over holes determined by the L&RGU. The winner will represent L&RGU in the EG County Boys Championships.

The tournament will be limited to 36 entrants and the right is reserved to refuse entry without comment. Over subscription will be resolved by handicap ballot. Handicap Index limit (18.0) The stroke play rounds will qualify for handicapping purposes. No caddies will be allowed.
