Entries accepted for the Leicestershire Schools Golf Championship

The LSGA Championships will be held at Cosby Golf Club on  Wednesday 16th May 2018.

The Championships are open to all boys and girls in full time education who have an official club handicap of 36 or better. Verification certificates will be required on the day. The competition will be a single medal and results will be forwarded to home clubs for handicapping purposes.

Schools and Colleges in Leicestershire and Rutland may enter as many students as they want, either in teams of 4 or as individuals.

• Tee times will be from 9.30am until 12.30pm – let me know of any preferences.
• Entry Fees: £ 10 per player
• Age Limit: must be 18 or under on 31st August 2018

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

• Best Gross Score (Leicestershire Schools Champion)
• Best Nett Score
• Best Team Score (best 3 scores from a maximum of 4)

Based on gross performances, a team will be selected to represent Leicestershire in the Midlands Schools Championships (a Scratch Competition) on Friday 1st June at Kibworth GC.

Entrants should complete the entry form and send to Kevin Whitfield-Green by Friday 11th May 2018 – the closing date for the competition. Entrants must also complete the parental consent form  which must be forwarded with entry forms or handed in on the day.
