Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union
The L&RGU Open Championship took place on Sunday 19th August at Kibworth Golf Club. Professionals and Amateurs were competing for the Open title, supported by the Mark Group.
The overall winner and leading amateur was Ashley Mason from Glen Gorse. Ashley shot 65-70 to win from another amateur, Phil Saul (Leicestershire Golf Club). The leading professional was Matt Cort from Rothley Park with rounds of 70 & 69.
