Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union
The Leicestershire and Rutland County Seniors play eleven county matches every year. Whilst these nine hole greensome and eighteen hole betterball matches are not in a league format, they are played as very competitive Friendly fixtures. After all, the teams are representing their county and consider it an honour to do so.
Players are selected by our team Captain Keith Elliott from all those expressing an interest to play. The list of availability is prepared by Charles Parker, the County Seniors Organiser. Players should have a single figure handicap and over recent years the team is becoming stronger as new golfers show an interest in playing.
