The Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union runs a Boys Stroke Play Championship every year.
The Stroke Play Championship is Gross medal event played over 36 holes with the overall winner taking the trophy and qualifying to represent the L&RGU in the England Golf Boys strokeplay Champion of Champions championship later in the year.

The 2023 L&RGU Boys Strokeplay Champion is Harry Rothera, Lingdale GC with a Gross Score of 74 - 74 = 148 winning by 3 shots from Thomas Dziuba Beedles Lake GC on a very challanging day. Harry will now go forward to represent the County in the EG & MGU 2023 Champion of Champion events later in the year.
The leading 8 Gross Scores (subject to availability) have qualify for the Match Play Championship.
