Cosby finish 7th in the Champion Club Tournament and also win the U35s League

Cosby finished a respectable 7th at the English Champion Club event at Huddersfield Golf Club on 22nd and 23rd September.

The team of Liam Plant, John Fairbrother and James Billingham finished on 447, 15 shots behind the winners Castle Royale from BB&O.

Cosby claimed the L&RGU Under 35s League title following the playoffs on Sunday 16th September at Scraptoft GC.

In the morning semi finals, Birstall won comfortably beating Kirby Muxloe by 4-0 but the second game was a little closer with Cosby eventually beating Hinckley by 3-1.

The afternoon final was also a close affair with 2 matches going to the 18th but Cosby were the victors by 3-1.
