L&RGU Boys win the Keith Tripp Trophy

It was a damp start to the Keith Tripp Trophy on Sunday 12th August, contested at Lingdale Golf Club by teams of eight U14's boys representing Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire & Rutland. With seven from eight gross scores to count some of our lads were a little slow out of the blocks but rallied on the back nine to ensure a victory for the L&RGU.

Results:

1st L&RGU with 580; 2nd Northamptonshire 603; 3rd Cambridgeshire 617; 4th Derbyshire 641.

Best Gross: Millen Durham (L&RGU) with 78 on countback after a three way tie.

Best Nett: Sam Envis (L&RGU) 69.
