2021 L&RGU Boys Championship R1 Rules

Open to boys under 18 years of age before 00.00 am on 1st January 2021 who are members of a golf club affiliated to the L&RGU.

Entrance fee: £20.00 (includes lunch on 11th August)

The Stroke Play Championship shall be played over 36 holes and the Match Play Championship over sets of 18 holes.

The leading 16 Gross Scores decided by Local Rule from the 36 hole Stroke Play will, if available qualify for the Match Play Championship. A tie for first place will be decided by a sudden death play-off over holes determined by the L&RGU.

The tournament will be limited to 60 entrants and the right is reserved to refuse entry without comment. Over subscription will be resolved by handicap ballot. Handicap Index limit (30.0) The stroke play rounds will qualify for handicapping purposes. No caddies will be allowed.
