2019 Amateur Championship R1 Rules

The Tournament is played over 36 holes stroke play and is open to male members, including juniors of golf clubs affiliated to the L&RGU holding a competition handicap not exceeding 7.4 (C)
Entries will be limited to 60 and will close on Saturday 29th June 2019. The Leading 16 by local rule will qualify for the Match Play Championship for the “Phillip R. Wykes Bowl” at Kibworth Golf Club.
By entering this tournament, you agree to The Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union General Rules Relating to all Tournaments.

New for 2019:
The Amateur Champion will gain a handicap exemption into the Midland Open Amateur Championship and all ten county champions will compete for a Midland County Champion title within the Midland Open event.
