L&RGU County Boys Championships & Match Play 12th, 13th & 16th August 2020 Lutterworth Golf Club

I am really looking forward to seeing you all on the day which I know will be a great celebration of Boys Golf across the County during these challenging times. To help keep us all safe here is some important information you need to be aware of to help the day run smoothly for us all.

These notes are applicable to the Boys 18 Hole Stroke Play, 9 Hole Stableford & Match Play events hosted at Lutterworth GC on the dates shown above and it is your responsibility to read this document in conjunction with the player prior to attending.

Entry is based upon all of those attending following the advice and rules in place regarding general H&S on the course, the Covid 19 rules for playing golf along with any associated Public Health England advice applicable at the time and the relevant L&RGU policies - the links at the bottom of this document will take you to the information as published by Lutterworth GC and the L&RGU Policy documents.

If, for any reason, you need to withdraw from the tournament please contact the Director of Junior Golf, details below, with immediate effect.

Players should not arrive any more than 20 minutes before their published tee time, they should change into their golf shoes in the car park ready to play and then proceed to the tournament registration desk which will be situated in the Main Clubhouse entrance. In line with current L&RGU Tournament policy, as part of the registration process, all players' temperatures will be checked with an infra-red thermometer.

The club will have a one-way system in operation when entering and exiting the course and clubhouse and signage will be in place to help guide you the right way.

You will be able to use the toilet facilities in the locker room and clubhouse foyer, but the locker rooms will be out of use all day.

Please proceed to the first tee area 5 minutes before your start time -  you must not exchange cards (don’t forget your own pencil!) you will mark your own scorecard and a score on that card for one of the other players in your group to be agreed on the tee.

No Caddies are allowed.

When you have finished your round please return, as a socially distanced group, to the registration desk to confirm your scores.

For the  9 Hole Stableford event each group will be allocated a Tournament Marshall to walk the 9 holes with them and capture the qualifying competition scores for each player.

If any adult accompanying a player is intending to either go out onto the course to watch, ball spot etc or use the Club House facilities then they must advise us at the registration desk so that we can capture the required details for Track and Trace purposes and at the same time we will also check your temperature with an infra-red thermometer.

Important note regarding player collection - the primary parental contact identified on the consent form will be responsible for ensuring that the players accompanying adult is available to collect the player immediately after they have completed the round and provided their scores to the registration desk.

Club House Facilities will be available for you to use but please be aware of the guidelines below and remember you will need to advise us at the Registration desk if you intend to use this facility.

· When coming into the clubhouse via the one-way system, please select a vacant table and a member of the team will take your order.  Please use contactless payments wherever possible, unless you have a Lutterworth Members' Card.

· You will have a maximum of 1 hour available to you in the clubhouse

· The environment has been made safe and the staff have been trained. Please do your part in maintaining good practices, e.g. use of hand sanitiser and social distancing
