The Honorary Treasurer of the Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union is David Dalby, from Whetstone Golf Club.

David was elected as Honorary Treasurer at the 2011 AGM. Previously David had been a member of the L&RGU Executive Committee from 1989-1993 and 2001-2011.

David has been a member of Whetstone Golf Club for more than 30 years, 14 of which as Honorary Secretary having stood down at the end of 2010. He was also a member of Kibworth Golf Club for a few years.

David is a qualified Company Secretary and is currently the Vice-Captain of the Golf Club Managers' Association (East Midlands Region). He is married to Sue and has 3 children, one of which, Adam, plays golf at county level.
