L&RGU U14s regain the Keith Tripp Trophy

On a very pleasant, sunny and warm afternoon at Lingdale Golf Club, the Leicestershire & Rutland Under 14's regained the Keith Tripp Trophy, following a decisive victory against their Derbyshire and Northamptonshire counterparts.

The L&RGU total of 588 was 21 shots better than Northamptonshire on 609, whilst Derbyshire came third on 621. The format was a team of 8, with the 7 best gross scores to count.

All of the team contributed to a magnificent victory, with home players Satria Cumming and Frazer Jones using their local knowledge to maximum effect. Satria shot a one over 72 which gave him the Best Gross Prize while Frazer scored a net 69 to give him the Best Net Prize.
