L&RGU acknowledged in Leicester Mercury Sports Awards

The hugely successful 2016 season for the Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union 1st team was recognised through the Leicester Mercury Sports Awards when the L&RGU were finalists in the Team of the Year category.

The category was won by the Leicester Riders basketball team. L&RGU President Kevin Whitfield-Green along with players John Fairbrother and Luke Burrows collected the finalist certificates.
