The Leicestershire finish 15th in Champion Club Tournament

By virtue of winning the Corah Shield at the L&RGU Amateur Championship in July, The Leicestershire Golf Club represented the Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union in the Champion Club Tournament.

The Champion Club Tournament was held at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club over the weekend of 17 & 18 September and The Leicestershire finished in 15th place. The event was won by Hayling Golf Club who represented Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Isles.
