Success in the Eastern Counties Foursomes!
The 2016 Eastern Inter Counties Foursomes took place over the weekend of 14th and 15th May and the L&RGU were victorious!
The team of Steve Sansome, Martin Anderson, James Billingham, Jack Merry, Scott Wormleighton, Jack Mayfield, David Cooper, Shaun Corby, Coby Cartwright, Jevann Parmar and Luke Burrows scored 27.5 points out of a possible 40 to beat Suffolk by 3 points and claim the title.

The L&RGU last won the Eastern Counties Foursomes in 2002, the team finished runners up in 2011 and 2012 (losing out on the final afternoon to Lincolnshire on both occasions) so the 2016 triumph is a marvellous success for the team and County Captain Oli Willson.
